FiftyForward is proud to present the 5th Annual Viva la Diva Run on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Nissan North America campus in Cool Springs. This cross-generational event celebrates and supports health, wellness and safety programs for girls and women of all ages. Men and boys are encouraged to run in support of the women in their lives. This year we are excited to feature Girls On the Run as our 5K partner.
Each participant will receive a complimentary tech shirt, custom designed finisher charm and an individual login with free access and downloads to all of your race photos provided by Capstone Photography.
- Viva la Diva features USTAF certified and chip-timed 5K and 10K courses.
- Viva la Diva is one of five races in the Making a Move Series.
- The 2015 Best Dressed Diva and Dude Costume Contest will be back in all its glory. Stay tuned for more details and special prizes.

(Award categories include: Top Finisher, Master and Age groups for men and women. Team awards are presented to the Largest Corporate Team; Fastest Corporate Team, Largest Community Team and Fastest Community Team.)
Parking: Free parking is available on the Nissan Americas campus in the parking garage (capacity is 1,100 spaces).
When registering don’t forget to indicate if you are on a team or would like to create a team. Team Captains that recruit at least 10 additional members before October 1, 2015 will receive a customized half zip pullover with the Viva la Diva logo and their team name.
Best Dressed Diva and Dude Costume Contest
Get inspired! Embrace your Inner Diva!
Once again, we will be hosting the Best Dressed Diva and Dude Costume Contest open to all runners at 7 a.m.
In addition, cash prizes and awards will be given to the winning participants in the Best Dressed Diva and Dude Costume Contest for the following categories:
- Most Fashionable Diva
- Most Creative Diva
- Most Creative Dude
- Most Outrageous Duo
- Most Diva-licious Team
Judges for the contest include Connie-Cathcart Richardson (Nashville Fashion Week co-founder), Eric Adler (Eric Adler Clothing), Patricia Apple (Couture for a Cause) and Mila Grigg (Moda Image and Brand Consulting).
There are dozens of volunteer opportunities with Viva la Diva! You can staff a water station, be part of a the registration team, cheer on runners as you direct them along the course.

Proceeds to Benefit FiftyForward Health and Wellness Programs
FiftyForward produces this event to raise proceeds benefiting its health and wellness programs for older adults (50+). In addition, funds raised from Viva la Diva will be used to help older adults access community resources they need to remain living independently. These FiftyForward services and programs include Meals on Wheels, Adult Day Services, Victory over Crime, Conservatorship and Care Management.
Founded in 1956, FiftyForward enriches the lives of adults 50+ by providing pathways to health, well-being and lifelong learning. With seven active aging centers offering educational and wellness programs throughout Davidson and Williamson counties, the non-profit organization also features FiftyForward Adult Day Care Services, FiftyForward Meals on Wheels as well as the FiftyForward Care Team offering care assessment and services to homebound adults. FiftyForward Travel offers adventures (near and far) and Senior Center for the Arts and The Larry Keeton Theatre, located in FiftyForward Donelson Station, features performing arts for all ages.
